The Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone in Rudong county of Nantong, Jiangsu province, hosted an investment roadshow in Shanghai on July 8, with a focus on artificial intelligence and manufacturing.

The event brought together the National Innovation Center par Excellence, regional universities and research institutes, and AI companies to explore opportunities built on the zone's strengths in new energy, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, and port logistics.

Nine AI-driven manufacturing projects pitched their core technologies, commercialization plans, and funding needs at the roadshow. Industry experts and investors engaged with the project teams on technical barriers, business models, and other key issues. The event generated concrete outcomes, with representatives of multiple projects expressing interest in further collaboration with the zone.

Looking ahead, the zone plans to strengthen its industrial foundations and application scenarios, actively tap into talent, technology, and capital resources across the Yangtze Delta, and build a tailored platform that effectively connects government, industry, academia, research, and finance.
