CCEDZ embraces emerging industries to boost high-quality development
The Chongchuan Economic Development Zone, or CCEDZ, in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has placed a strong emphasis on enhancing its technological innovation capabilities, considering it a core initiative to propel high-quality development.
The zone has advanced emerging industries such as digital software, intelligent transportation systems, and pharmaceuticals in an effort to develop new quality productive forces.
This year, the zone is striving to attract 26 key industrial projects. It also plans to launch construction on five projects and complete another five.
Moreover, the zone is committed to bolstering enterprise-related services and leveraging intelligent platforms to facilitate digital transformation for existing enterprises.
It also aims to utilize relevant policies to encourage local enterprises to upgrade their capabilities. This year, it is targeting a growth rate of over 20 percent in the output value of the digital software, intelligent transportation system, and pharmaceutical industries.
