Advantages
Chongchuan Economic Development Zone covers a total planning area of 38.05 square kilometers in the main urban area of Nantong on the northern bank of the Yangtze River.

· Communications service
Nantong has put in place throughout the city a comprehensive three-dimensional communications transmission network featuring fiber optic transmission network (FOTN) as the main means and wireless network as a supplement.
The 4G network has been accessible within the whole urban area and the 100 Mbps FOTN urban coverage has reached over 96 percent. The MAN bandwidth has reached 2200 GB. The appropriative internet channel for international communications has been approved.
· Power supply
It has one of the key electricity and new energy base in China. There are five thermal power plants in Nantong, the total capacity of grid power generation has reached 800 million KW and among which the capacity of grid wind power generation has reached 900,000 KW. The State Grid Nantong Branch has built two 500KV electrical substations and the total capacity is up to 27 million KV, making itself the largest electric power base in Jiangsu province.
· Water supply
It possesses abundant fresh water supply in CCEDZ that its five water plants with a daily water supply capacity of 1.55 million tons.
· Gas supply
A natural gas pipeline has already been put into use with daily gas supply reaching 200,000 cubic meters.
· Steam supply
Guanyinshan Environmental Protection Thermal Power Plant is located in CCEDZ's eastern zone to supply steam to the enterprises nearby.
· Sewage Treatment
Rainfall and sewage is diffluent. The 14 sewage treatment plants in Nantong can treat 1.2 million tons daily. And the Guayinshan Sewage Treatment Plant located in CCEDZ's eastern zone has the daily treatment capacity of 48,000 tons.

As the hometown of education for the basic education, Nantong ranks the first in Jiangsu province and keeps ahead in China. As the core area of higher education in Nantong, Chongchuan district has 44 vocational schools with 150,000 students in study.
