The Fumei branch of Nantong Chongchuan Library was recently recognized as one of the most beautiful public cultural spaces in Jiangsu province for the year 2024.

This accolade brings the total number of provincial-level "most beautiful public cultural spaces" in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, to eight.

The Fumei Library is located in the Nantong Fumei Headwear Cultural Park in Chongchuan and was established in March last year. It spans approximately 700 square meters across two floors.

The ground floor of the library, named "FAD book house", is designed to blend fashion, art, and design aesthetics, offering readers a unique interactive experience. The second floor features a shared reading area, an interactive family reading area, and a bar-style reading zone.

With a collection of over 1,000 volumes, the library primarily focuses on books related to design, fashion, history, photography, painting, architecture, and travel. Additionally, the library adopts an integrated management approach for collection, lending, and reading, equipped with self-service machines for borrowing and returning books, which are also compatible with Nantong Chongchuan Library's borrow and return system.

This year, Chongchuan plans to create four or more provincial and municipal "most beautiful public cultural spaces," aiming to provide residents with a greater variety of distinctive public cultural spaces.
