Digital transportation park thrives with innovation and growth
In the past two years, the Nantong Digital Transportation Park, located in the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone, has been flourishing by focusing on attracting companies involved in digital transportation development and intelligent maintenance operations.
To date, the park has secured agreements with 42 companies, with the main operating income of these companies reaching approximately 450 million yuan ($62.78 million) in the first half of the year.
One notable company within the park is Jiangsu Keyun Smart Transportation Technology Co Ltd, a joint venture under JSTI Group, which established its presence in the Nantong Digital Transportation Park in April last year. Over the past year, the company has been at the forefront of lightweight monitoring technology nationwide, with applications on over 200 roads and municipal bridges across the country.
In addition to technological advancements, the Nantong Digital Transportation Park places a strong emphasis on nurturing professional talent.
This year, the Nantong Zhixing Weilai Vehicle Internet of Things Innovation Center within the park, in collaboration with Nantong Vocational University, established a joint public training base within the park. Leveraging its own tool and professional advantages, the center has developed over 10 sets of training task books over the past six months. The base can currently accommodate daily teaching and practical training for up to 300 individuals.
