Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, collaborated with the International Education College of Nantong University to organize a volunteer activity for residents of Qixiu community.

During the activity, 10 international student volunteers from countries like India and Namibia provided blood pressure checks and heart rate measurements for the community's residents.

These volunteers are members of the "Foreign Lei Feng" volunteer team in Nantong University. Established in 2012, the volunteer team aims to provide free services such as medical consultations, educational support, environmental protection, and cultural guidance to local residents.

For the past 12 years, the volunteers on the team have been actively involved in community services, participating in activities such as English tutoring, health check-ups, and cultural experiences, benefiting thousands of people.

In recent years, while emphasizing an improvement in academic education for international students, Nantong University has also focused on enhancing the moral and ethical education of its international student community. Currently, the university hosts over 1,000 international students from 59 countries, including Russia, Japan, Morocco, and India.
