Over 13 hectares of peach trees in the Taoyuanju Family Farm in Rudong county – administered by Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province – are currently festooned with deep and vivid light red peach blossoms, lending the farm natural beauty and splendor.

According to Sun Dong, manager of the farm, the flowering usually lasts from mid-March to early April, and the blooming period is in late March.

Built at the end of 2012, the Taoyuanju Family Farm covers 13.9 ha, with more than 10,000 fruit trees. Honey peaches, yellow peaches and other varieties are planted in the orchard, as well as some pear trees.

Many people visit the farm to admire the beauty of its flowers in March each year and when it comes to June – the ripening season of the peaches – a large number of visitors will come to pick the fruit, Sun added.
