Unlock spring fun at Rudong's pear garden
The pear garden in Donghai community, Rudong county, Jiangsu province, transformed into a white world during the peak flowering period around Qingming Festival.
Founded in 1984, the garden has gradually expanded from an initial 20 hectares to the current 66.67 hectares.
The garden was crowded with people, including families on spring outings, young tourists dressed in hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing), and aunties traveling in groups.
Twelve performers dressed as "Flower Goddesses" held oiled paper umbrellas, strolling slowly along the path of the pear garden, with many tourists stopping to take photos.
In addition, multiple interactive check-in points were set up, including handmade experiences, touhu (arrow throwing), and tea tasting.
In the "Claim a Tree" area, people can pay 88 yuan ($12.88) to adopt a pear tree and then receive 10 kilograms of high-quality pear fruits in July and August. "It's worth it to experience the joy of picking during the harvest season, which is like extending the happiness of spring all the way into autumn," said visitor Wang Shuo.
