Gangzha district enterprises deemed priority amid epidemic

A total of 10 enterprises in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province were listed as priority enterprises during the fight against novel coronavirus, more than any other district in the city, according to a list issued by the local government.
According to the regulations, six types of enterprises can be listed, including those that produce medical supplies and daily necessities or provide communication services. The listed enterprises are expected to receive financial support based on relevant policies.
Nantong NTEC Monofilament Technology Co is the largest monofilament producer in the country, largely due to support from the local government. It was among the first enterprises in the district to be approved to receive loans by offering equipment as collateral, receiving a one-time loan of 7 million yuan ($1.01 million).
Jinghua Pharmaceutical Group Co recently produced its first batch of Resochin, which was recently approved as a trial drug for novel coronavirus pneumonia and delivered to major provinces around China.
Jiangsu Hanrun Automotive Electronics Co provides core components for isolation ambulances, which can reduce the risk of cross-infection and are crucial in epidemic-hit areas. The company resumed work ahead of schedule in order to aid in epidemic control.
Workers at Nantong Daxing Flour Co have been busy producing flour in order to meet increased demand, and the company is also supplying food to a hospital for novel coronavirus pneumonia patients. Its daily output has now reached 700 tons due to the use of two modernized production lines.
