Yangkou Port's large-scale photovoltaic demonstration project in full swing
The Guohua Rudong Project integrating photovoltaic power generation, electrolysis of water for hydrogen production, and energy storage technology, is designed to generate 468 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity. It ranks as the country's largest offshore demonstration facility of its kind.
Located on the tidal flats outside the Yudong Reclamation Area, the project brings together a 400,000-kilowatt offshore solar farm, a 60-megawatt/120-MW-hour energy storage station, and a 1,500-normal-cubic-meter-per-hour green hydrogen production system.

This integrated setup forms a complete closed-loop system for green power generation, storage, and conversion. It is expected to generate 468 million kilowatt-hours of electricity a year, translating into clean power for nearly 200,000 households.
Beyond electricity generation, the project produces 482 metric tons of high-purity green hydrogen annually. This green hydrogen is specifically supplied to the Yangtze River Delta region, and a supporting hydrogen refueling station has been put into operation at the same time, completing the entire application chain for green hydrogen.
