At the heart of Rudong's modern logistics system lies Yangkou Port. Once a stretch of barren tidal flats, the port has since been developed into a comprehensive deep-water facility over the past decade.

Three operational zones — for liquefied chemical businesses, general cargo, and the Jinniu Terminal — offer eight open berths serving international vessels over 50,000 DWT, with routes covering 27 countries and regions.

The port has established a seamless "dock unloading-pipeline transportation-factory production-overseas shipping and sales" model serving major local industries.

China National Petroleum Corporation's liquefied natural gas reaches households via pipelines, Jiatong Energy's pure terephthalic acid products move ashore with minimal transfer, and Koksan's Phase I project, which is about to be put into trial operation, will soon ship finished products directly to its Turkish headquarters.

The newly operational Jinniu Terminal fills a critical gap in heavy equipment and specialized cargo handling. Equipped with advanced lifting gear and intelligent yard systems, it serves submarine cables, wood chips, and large equipment, offering seamless sea access to leading local firms.

A dedicated multimodal transfer center extends the port's reach from the industrial park across the entire Yangtze River Delta region.

Through port expansion and seamless industry integration, Yangkou Port has become a strategic engine driving Rudong's industrial growth and regional connectivity.
