The three-day Shenzhen International General Artificial Intelligence Industry Expo drew to a close on Aug 28 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, with Tongzhou district of Nantong, Jiangsu province, making a strong appearance.

The Tongzhou delegation showcased a range of cutting-edge achievements across AI computing infrastructure, digital twins and intelligent manufacturing, highlighting the district's growing strength as a regional hub for AI-driven industrial transformation.

Three leading Tongzhou-based companies — Jiangsu Haohan Information Technology, Nantong Yunshu Network Technology and Jiangsu Sansheng Zhijie Technology — jointly presented their latest technologies and solutions at the expo. In parallel, the delegation conducted government investment promotion activities and business matchmaking. Throughout the event, their booth attracted a steady stream of professional visitors and business representatives.

With Nantong National Hightech Industrial Development Zone serving as a key development platform, Tongzhou is now home to more than 60 AI-related enterprises across eight major segments, including computing infrastructure, intelligent connectivity, data and algorithms, and terminal integration.

In 2025, the output value of Tongzhou's AI industry chain surged 146 percent year-on-year, underscoring the rapid expansion of new quality productive forces and its accelerating momentum in AI-driven industrial development.
