As a core engine for cultivating new quality productive forces, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a driver of Tongzhou's high-quality development.

The region's AI sector has evolved from a linear industrial chain to an interconnected network, propelled by leading enterprises and collaboration across various industrial clusters.

Leading enterprises serve as the main driving force. Jiangsu Haohan Information Technology, as a major player in Tongzhou's AI industry, has developed innovative technologies such as a millimeter-precision 3D digital system for substations. Founded in 2010 as a four-person startup, the talent-driven firm has grown into a regional standard-setter in AI application R&D.

Tongzhou has promoted AI implementation by integrating the technology into local pillar industries. For example, China's first hub designed for the simultaneous operation of over 300 driverless delivery vehicles was launched in Chuanjiang town, handling 200,000 products per day and alleviating logistics problems in the home textile sector.

In recent years, through investment attraction and ecosystem cultivation, Tongzhou has built a complete ecosystem covering basic support, core technologies, and real-world applications. This has attracted nearly 50 related enterprises to the area. Last year, the growth rate of the industrial chain's output value surged to 146 percent, helping Tongzhou climb to the 24th spot among China's top 100 districts for scientific and technological innovation.
