A telecommunications equipment manufacturer based in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has dispatched the first batch of emergency supplies to Gyirong county in Xizang autonomous region following a mudslide that damaged local communications and power infrastructure on Aug 26.

ZTT Group has completed the urgent deployment and shipment of optical cables, drop cables, transformers and other emergency relief materials, which are now en route to the affected area.

In addition to the supplies, ZTT has sent liaison officers to Xizang to deliver official correspondence to its clients and coordinate on-site relief efforts, ensuring continued material replenishment, technical support and service backup as needed.

As a core supplier in China's communications and energy infrastructure sector, ZTT has long made the stable operation of critical infrastructure a central mission, the company said, adding that it has consistently been among the first to respond during major natural disasters.

ZTT said it will continue to monitor the situation closely and fully cooperate with all parties involved in disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction, reaffirming its commitment to corporate social responsibility and to helping affected communities return to normal as soon as possible.
