The show features 40 traditional Chinese paintings and 40 calligraphy works. The paintings depict landscapes, flowers and birds, and figures. Some showcase Xinjiang's natural beauty, including the Tianshan Mountains, Ili horses, and eagles; others portray Nantong landmarks such as Langshan Mountain and Wenfeng Pagoda. The calligraphy spans cursive, running, clerical, seal, and regular scripts, with texts including poems by both modern and ancient literary figures.

The exhibition runs through Oct 31 and marks the second time the Jianghai Art Realm exhibition has come to Ili Kazak autonomous prefecture. The first event, held in 2023, featured 100 works by Nantong artists. Since then, exchanges between the two places have continued, strengthening their cultural ties.
