The 2026 Nantong Cross-Border E-Commerce Product Selection Exhibition concluded on Sept 12, drawing 13,045 visitors over four days and generating more than 18 million yuan ($2.68 million) in onsite transactions, with intended purchase agreements exceeding 100 million yuan.
The event featured 271 exhibitors across 628 booths, nearly doubling its previous scale. Occupying 24,000 square meters, it brought together eight of Nantong's leading industrial clusters, along with companies from across Jiangsu province and several provinces in China. Twenty-five percent of participants were exhibitors from outside the city.
Eighteen major cross-border platforms and 34 service providers were on hand, covering overseas channels, payment settlement, and international logistics.
The fair combined a three-day professional exhibition with a one-day public open day, balancing targeted matchmaking with domestic and international trade.
International buyers from eight countries and regions attended, including South Korea, Hungary, Spain and Uzbekistan. A South Korean fiber-convergence institute held dedicated matchmaking sessions with the Nantong Garment Association, while a buyer from Kyrgyzstan signed a $100,000 letter of intent with Meiluo Home.
More than 30 side events ran alongside the fair, including an international matchmaking session that paired 110 key buyers with 200 manufacturers for one-on-one meetings. The session produced purchase intentions in 39.5 percent of cases.
The fair earned an overall approval rating of 82.9 percent, with more than 60 percent of participating companies saying they planned to return. Local companies, including Dongcheng Power Tools, secured substantial inquiries and overseas partnership leads, while major platforms such as Alibaba, Amazon and Focus Technology pledged deeper collaboration with Nantong's industrial clusters.
