The 2026 China Listed Companies Forum on Quality Growth and the 28th Golden Bull Awards for Listed Companies ceremony were held in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Sept 10, bringing together more than 400 listed companies, investment institutions and research institutes.

The forum examined ways to improve the capital market environment, deepen cooperation between industry and finance and create new partnership opportunities.

Mayor of Nantong Zhang Tong thanked guests for their continued support of the city. She said Nantong offers a unique location, a strong industrial base, a vast hinterland, a robust financial services sector and an efficient business environment.

"The city is working to become a preferred destination for listed companies to invest and grow," she said. "We invite investors and businesses to bring advanced technologies and quality projects to Nantong." She also said that the city would continue to improve government services and enhance its reputation for business-friendly services.

Gong Haibin, executive deputy director of the Jiangsu financial authority, encouraged Nantong to capitalize on its industrial, geographic and business-environment strengths to attract technology, talent and capital. He said the city could set a new benchmark in the province's maritime development strategy.

The 28th Golden Bull Awards for Listed Companies were also announced. Two Nantong entrepreneurs were honored: Xue Chi, chairman of ZTT Group, received the Golden Bull Entrepreneur Award, and Wang Li, chairman of Jiangshan Agrochemical and Chemicals, received the Golden Bull Entrepreneur Innovation Award.

The Golden Bull Awards, hosted by China Securities Journal, were established in 1999. They are among the most credible and influential awards in China's capital market and have played a leading role in encouraging listed companies to follow sound practices and supporting the market's healthy development.
