As one of the first provincial-level tourist and leisure blocks and a distinctive commercial street, Nanshan Lake Water Street has become a popular destination for nighttime leisure and consumption in Tongzhou.

The street brings together entrepreneurs and businesses from across the country, offering a rich mix of local foods, specialty snacks and handmade products. Visitors can sample an array of flavors while browsing the shops and stalls that line the thoroughfare.

After dining and shopping, visitors can make their way to a nearby sports plaza. The 2.5-kilometer lakeside walkway is fully lit after dark, providing a convenient space for walking, jogging and fitness.

Meanwhile, Jinsha Beach, one of the key attractions within Nanshan Lake Park, is undergoing a comprehensive upgrade. Future plans include new businesses and recreational offerings, including water-based leisure facilities and a trendy waterfront area.

The improvements are expected to further diversify the area's leisure and consumption options, providing visitors with a more modern and elevated experience.
