The selected project uses a self-developed digital design platform. It employs key technologies, such as AI and image recognition, to build an intelligent design system that enables the automated generation of ship models and drawings.
To address specific issues such as ship cable routing, the project has developed a proprietary large language model for the maritime domain that can automatically plan optimal cable pathways for the entire vessel.
Currently, this solution is compatible with various ship types, including cruise ships and pure car and truck carriers (PCTCs). It is applied across multiple high-end ship and offshore engineering projects, including the research and development of liquefied natural gas (LNG) ships.
Haimen base is committed to advancing the integration of AI technologies within the shipbuilding and offshore equipment sectors. By harnessing cutting-edge digital and intelligent technologies, the organization aims to drive the transformation and modernization within the industry.
