The Phase III project of Aeolon Wind Power, an investment by Nantong Aeolon Wind Power Technology Development, commenced construction in the Haimen Port Economic Development Zone on June 17. 

In recent years, the company has seized opportunities in the global energy transition, delving deeply into the entire R&D, design, production, sales, and service process for wind turbine blades, establishing itself as a leading enterprise in the sector. 

In 2018, the company established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Haimen, and its Phase I and II projects were put into operation in 2019 and 2022, respectively. Last year, they achieved sales revenue of 6.03 billion yuan ($886.68 million). 

The Phase III project will involve the establishment of 11 production lines. Upon reaching full capacity, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 1,000 sets of large megawatt wind turbine blades, with an estimated annual sales increase of 4 billion yuan. 

The total annual output value of the Aeolon Wind Power project is projected to exceed 12 billion yuan, aiming to establish the world's largest wind turbine blade manufacturing base.
