The fifth edition of the Nantong Zilang Music Festival kicked off on June 21 at the Zilang Music Plaza in Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Ten popular singers and bands took turns on stage, delivering unforgettable summer sound waves with their captivating melodies for the music fans.

The festival, which was the centerpiece of Nantong's summer cultural and tourism events, attracted nearly 30,000 music enthusiasts. About 83 percent of attendees traveled from outside Nantong, and roughly 76 percent were young people aged 18 to 30.

The festival featured over 40 distinctive market stalls, offering a delightful mix of traditional Nantong delicacies and trendy celebrity snacks. Simultaneously, a variety of Nantong-themed cultural and creative products were available for purchase, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the city's cultural essence while enjoying the music.

On-site medical service points were equipped with air-conditioned tents, providing free herbal cooling drinks to help the audience stay refreshed. In addition, 30,000 rain ponchos and disposable shoe covers were prepared in advance at the entrance and distributed to attendees free of charge as needed.
