Nantong showcases shipbuilding, marine engineering prowess in Singapore

Fifteen companies from Nantong, Jiangsu province, took part in the biennial Asia Pacific Maritime trade show in Singapore from March 25 to 27, highlighting the formidable capabilities of Nantong's shipbuilding and marine engineering sectors to a global audience.

Situated in a prime location within the exhibition hall, the Nantong delegation, including companies like Jiangsu Masada Heavy Industries, showcased an impressive range of high-quality products emblematic of Nantong's shipbuilding and marine engineering prowess. These included marine deck machinery, specialized cables, precision machining, ship technology services and innovative composite materials.

Notably, Jiangsu Yunhui Pipe Industry Technology made its debut at APM, presenting a series of products such as polyethylene-coated steel pipes and high-density polyethylene-coated steel pipes. These offerings are distinguished by their adaptability and competitiveness across various application scenarios.

Throughout the exhibition, the Nantong delegation facilitated one-on-one discussions with buyers from Singapore and neighboring countries and engaged with the Association of Singapore Marine Industries to bolster their integration into the Asia-Pacific and global markets. Additionally, participating companies conducted on-site visits to ASL Marine Holdings and PSA International Pte, gaining valuable insights into the specific needs of the Singapore market.

APM, a premier maritime industry event in the Asia-Pacific region, attracted over 700 exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions this year, drawing over 25,000 professional visitors. The exhibition featured a comprehensive array of industry segments, including shipbuilding and repair, marine engineering equipment, marine equipment, communication and navigation and port technology.
