Yangkou Port EDZ committed to fostering sound environment to help businesses grow
In the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone based in Rudong county of Nantong, Jiangsu province, efficient project implementation is not just a commitment on paper but a vibrant reality.
As the new year unfolds, the zone is bustling with project construction activities driven by the concrete steps it has already taken to enhance the business environment to foster a fertile ground for enterprises' growth.
"We chose the zone due to its attentive services and efficient work approach," said Han Fei, production director of Yada Green Energy Technology (Jiangsu). The company signed an investment agreement on a marine equipment project (Phase-I) worth 3 billion yuan ($430 million) in May 2024, and obtained relevant construction permits in September the same year, demonstrating the zone's efficiency in promoting speedy project implementation.

It took only seven months for this project to be completed and operational thanks to the zone's "full-cycle service" ecosystem, which streamlines the complex approval procedures to allow the company to focus on project construction.
This proactive service model has driven a construction surge in the first quarter of this year, with six key projects that were scheduled to break ground in the first quarter progressing steadily. The steady improvement of the zone's business environment has removed obstacles and strengthened support for the rapid advancement of projects.
The zone's high-quality business environment serves as a magnetic field for project implementation and acts as a catalyst for enhancing the industrial chain. Through strategic business services and ongoing support, it is propelling projects towards swift completion and success.
