Tongzhou technology bureau collaborates with local firm to boost technological development
In recent years, the technology bureau of Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has been focusing on addressing the technological needs of local businesses to drive their technological advancements.
Officials from the bureau, along with professors from the Nantong Advanced Technology Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, recently visited Square Technology Group Co Ltd to learn about the company's needs and provide guidance for its technological endeavors.
"Square Technology has always emphasized technological innovation as the main driver of the company's high-quality development. The district's technology bureau has offered strong support and assistance in areas such as promoting technological policies, applying for technology projects, and establishing platforms for industry-academia collaboration. It's innovative policies and resources have also proved invaluable," said Yang Xiaoyan, deputy dean of Square Technology Group's research institute.
As a leading domestic enterprise in cold chain equipment manufacturing, Square Technology allocates 4 to 5 percent of its annual revenue towards research and development. Additionally, the company has established a research institute with a technical R&D team of around 150 members dedicated to product development to meet personalized customer needs.
