NHIZ sees boom in industrial added value above designated size in Q1

Updated: May 7, 2025 L M S

The Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) has seen its industrial added value above designated size grow by 30.1 percent in the first quarter, surpassing the city's average by 21.4 percent.

In recent years, NHIZ has prioritized both project attraction and enterprise services, continuously optimizing its business environment. The zone has also focused on the integrated development of industrial and technological innovation, with two specialized industrial parks established: the integrated circuit equipment and components park, and the automotive and parts park.

The integrated circuit equipment and components park currently hosts 16 enterprises above designated size, forming industrial clusters specializing in vacuum products for integrated circuits, discrete devices, and wet process equipment.

The automotive and parts park accommodates 26 enterprises above designated size, focusing on automotive electronics, castings, engine components, and interior trim parts.

Looking ahead, NHIZ plans to further optimize its industrial structure while seizing future industrial opportunities. Strategic initiatives include developing artificial intelligence industries to accelerate computing power ecosystem development and establishing an aerospace equipment industrial park focused on supporting aerospace industry chains.
