In the past two years, Nantong Aijia Packaging Technology Co Ltd located in Tongzhou district, Nantong, has invested nearly 100 million yuan ($14.10 million) in technological upgrades, achieving new breakthroughs in technology and innovation.

One of its key achievements is the complete automation of its intelligent packaging project. By extensively utilizing big data and cloud technology, the company has been able to transition to paperless order processing, information-based production, digitized logistics, and unmanned operations.

Ma Bing, the company's chairman, explained that its intelligent workshop is equipped with a comprehensive set of advanced equipment. From cardboard production to carton printing, and from internal factory logistics to finished goods warehousing, everything is managed by an information tracking system to ensure zero errors.

Seamless data integration has enhanced connectivity between various pieces of equipment, facilitating efficient factory operation decision-making. Despite having only six production workers in their over-20,000-square-meter workshop, the company has achieved a significant increase in efficiency, halving its workforce while doubling productivity, fully realizing the goals of reducing staff, enhancing quality, and increasing efficiency.

While emphasizing technological advancements, Aijia Packaging Technology also places a strong emphasis on green development. Earlier this year, the company invested over 20 million yuan to introduce a honeycomb cardboard production line, which is now in trial production. Once fully operational, it is expected to produce 150,000 square meters of honeycomb cardboard daily, boosting sales by 150 million yuan.

Ma highlighted the benefits of honeycomb cardboard, noting its lightweight nature, high strength, and minimal material requirements, leading to savings in production materials and promoting environmental sustainability.

Aijia Packaging Technology has established a high-speed corrugated cardboard production line and a honeycomb cardboard production line, capable of producing a combined total of more than 600,000 square meters of cardboard and nearly 300,000 finished paper boxes daily.

In 2023, the company achieved sales of nearly 300 million yuan, with a tax contribution exceeding 5 million yuan. This year, sales are projected to reach between 350 million yuan and 400 million yuan.
