23 new projects to be based in NHIZ
A signing ceremony was held on June 29 for an array of projects, with 23 of them to be based in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu province.
These projects encompass various sectors, including nine projects in the field of new-generation information technology, six projects related to intelligent manufacturing, and five projects focusing on new energy and new materials.
One important project is being funded with 5 billion yuan ($688.59 million) by Hamedata Technology Co Ltd. It will focus on the research, development, and manufacturing of mobile energy storage products and is expected to enhance the photovoltaic industrial chain in the zone.
Another significant project is backed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of the 12th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. It will focus on areas such as vacuum heat treatment, vacuum environmental chambers, space environment simulation, and specialized high-voltage power supplies.
This project has secured the order for the Nantong subway line 1 and 2.
