Rugao hydrogen energy vehicle testing platform unveiled

The official opening of the National Hydrogen Energy Vehicle Research and Testing Public Service Platform – which is located in Rugao city in East China's Jiangsu province – took place during the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Congress in Shanghai on Sept 15, according to the organizers of the event.
The platform, jointly established by Rugao Economic and Technological Development Zone and Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Certification & Tech Innovation Center Ltd, cost 260 million yuan ($38.47 million).
The platform is positioned as a facility for hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicle related testing technology research, test equipment development, as well as policy research and formulation.
On completion, it will be the first third-party hydrogen energy and fuel cell comprehensive testing platform and technical service center in the Yangtze River Delta region.
