Jiangsu Green Wheel Electric Vehicle Co is a production base of Green Wheel Electric Vehicle Group, a high-tech company specialized in designing and manufacturing new energy vehicles.

With 1.3 billion yuan ($199.97 million) in investment, the company has built 270,000-square-meter premises, which have an annual capacity of 5,000 large and medium-sized passenger buses, 5,000 special purpose motor vehicles, as well as 50,000 electric passenger cars.

The company features a research and development department led by Guo Konghui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It has also established close cooperation with a number of institutes, including Tongji University, Jilin University, Nanchang University, as well as the China Automotive Technology and Research Center.
