Meta-universe art exhibition kicks off in Nantong
The opening of the Meta-Universe International Art Cluster Exhibition took place at the Fumei Hat and Ornament Museum in Nantong, Jiangsu province on Feb 24.
The exhibition brings together 101 art pieces from artists hailing from China, the United States, France, Japan, and South Korea. Through a multidimensional perspective, the artworks showcase the close connection and mutual inspiration between art and technology.
The origins of the exhibition trace back to the 2018 CAC Unrestrained Creative Contest. This contest aimed to unleash the creative potential of artists and designers, encouraging them to engage in cross-disciplinary, diverse, and forward-thinking endeavors.
Spanning four editions, the contest has garnered the participation of hundreds of artists and tens of thousands of art students. These events not only elevated creative standards but also gradually shaped the influence of meta-dimensional art. This ultimately led to the initiation of the exhibition, providing artists with a platform for showcasing and exchanging their innovative ideas.
