The cultural and tourism products from Nantong, Jiangsu province, were prominently showcased in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, on April 11, where Nantong faced Changzhou in the opening match of the 2026 Jiangsu Football City League, or Suchao.
Nantong's offerings captivated the audience in Changzhou, providing a unique cultural experience. Featured items included the beloved Nantong Museum's lucky fridge magnets, the city IP "Tongtong" series, and specialty toys from the Nantong Forest Safari Zoo. These diverse cultural products, each with their own distinctive charm and exquisite design, proved popular bestsellers, enchanting audiences and attracting new fans.
The "Suxiaolang" series, a creation designed for Suchao, made a surprise appearance at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center alongside a "Kung Fu Panda" mascot, delighting the crowd with its adorable, eye-catching presence. Their dynamic and engaging interactive performances quickly drew in fans, attracting large crowds of citizens and tourists eager to take photos, becoming the undeniable highlight of the event and maintaining a festive atmosphere throughout.
The Meng Family crab roe buns from Rugao, Nantong, were in high demand, with sales booming and repeatedly selling out, creating a strong demand that exceeded supply. Guoliyan brought authentic traditional Nantong cuisine, featuring specialties like fire dumplings, rice cakes, and clam pancakes, all bursting with flavor. Additionally, creative Nantong fortune cookies were distributed for free, each containing a fun phrase in the Nantong dialect.
