The official recognition of the research and production of a first product by equipment manufacturing enterprises reflects the innovation and manufacturing technology capacities of enterprises.

Overall, Haimen is oriented towards industry supply chain development, with a focus on introducing leading intelligent equipment manufacturing enterprises, terminals manufacturers and core component manufacturers.

To date, Haimen has identified 36 products as being first product at or above the city level, including 13 at the provincial level.

Among the 13 provincial-level first products, eight products come from the high-tech ship and marine equipment manufacturing industry and four products come from the robotic industry.
