Pink muhly grass in Haimen enters peak viewing season
The ornamental pink muhly grass (Muhlenbergia capillaris) in Changtan Park, Haimen district, Nantong, is currently experiencing its most beautiful season.
The ornamental pink muhly grass is a perennial warm-season herbaceous plant that can grow up to 30-90 centimeters tall and 60-90 centimeters wide. Its top forms an arch with slender green leaves.
During the flowering season from September to November, fluffy pink flower plumes form at its top. When planted in groups, it creates a spectacular sight resembling a misty pink ocean. This stunning landscape can be enjoyed from September to mid-November, offering an unforgettable sightseeing experience.
