Eco-friendly roll-on/roll-off car ferry delivered from Haimen
The world's biggest eco-friendly roll-on/roll-off car ferry set sail from a terminal in Haimen district of Nantong city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, on Oct 18.
The Haimen duty team of the Nantong border inspection station provided special services to ensure efficient and fast customs clearance of the ship.
At 199.9 meters long and 37.6 meters wide, the ship can accommodate 9,100 vehicles when fully loaded. It is one of the first clean roll-on/roll-off ships for cars that can use carbon neutral fuel.
The Nantong border inspection station customized a service support plan to ensure the timely delivery of the ship, as well as efficiently completing inspection processes such as personnel identification, document verifications and ship inspection.
