In recent years, Tongzhou district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, has been continuously improving its local business environment, providing many conveniences for local enterprises.

One company to benefit is Jiangsu Youzhong Micro-Nano Semiconductor Technology Co Ltd, located in the Nantong Semiconductor Optoelectronics Industrial Park.

The company is a technological innovation enterprise that relies on its proprietary core nano-imprinting technology and mature semiconductor process technology to offer customers a one-stop solution for professional semiconductor micro-nano devices.

Last July, the company relocated to Tongzhou and established its headquarters there. When asked why they chose to set up their headquarters in Tongzhou, the company's general manager, Li Ning, stated that Tongzhou's semiconductor industrial chain and business environment gave him strong confidence in development.

"As a semiconductor company, we have to deal with hazardous chemicals, waste gas, and wastewater treatment. Here, we have a professional semiconductor optoelectronics industrial park with excellent supporting facilities, and we have already identified potential upstream and downstream partners within the park," he said.

According to him, the company's first-phase project is set to start production by the end of July, with the second-phase project expected to commence production by the end of next year. Once fully operational, the company anticipates annual revenue of around 500 million yuan ($68.96 million).

The Nantong Semiconductor Optoelectronics Industrial Park where the company is located was completed in October 2023 and serves as an important platform for the layout of the new-generation information industry and high-quality project attraction and investment in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

The park has specialized areas for storing special gases and hazardous chemicals and a wastewater station to collect heavy wastewater generated by enterprises in the park.

Additionally, the industrial park provides "one-stop" services for companies entering the park, including a partial administrative approval agency, technology enterprise declaration, industry consultation, human resources recruitment, financial services, and more.

In recent years, Tongzhou has introduced multiple measures to optimize its business environment. The district has ranked among the top 20 in the province's business environment for the past two years.
