Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently held a series of activities in celebration of International Museum Day on May 18.

On May 14, the city's Changxiang community in Rucheng sub-district arranged for students to visit the Rugao Museum and see its rich collection of cultural relics.

On the same day, the new era civilization practice station of Zhangbali community in Chengnan sub-district arranged for students to visit the Huaxia Film Museum to learn about film history and culture.

The film museum houses more than 2,000 film equipment items, including film projectors, film copies, printing and restoration equipment, film script documents and old film collections.
