Collections from Suzhou Museum come to Rugao
An exhibition of collections from the Suzhou Museum in Suzhou, Jiangsu province is currently underway at the Rugao Museum in Rugao, Nantong, Jiangsu province, according to local media reports.
The exhibition shows new Suzhou-style crafts featuring important historical moments, major landmark events, and important figures from all walks of life from 1921 to 2021.
Collections such as jade carvings, walnut carvings, wood carvings embroidery, Kesi (a traditional type of decorative silk work in China), ceramics and paper-cuttings are on display at the exhibition.
The exhibition will run until Oct 7.
