The Jiangsu Hai'an (Kunshan) High Quality Development Conference was held in Kunshan, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, on March 17.

The conference, which was aimed at strengthening cooperation between Hai'an and Kunshan, witnessed the signing of 24 projects related to new energy, automobiles, high-end manufacturing, and mechanical equipment, with a combined investment of 10.8 billion yuan ($1.58 billion).

Yu Lizhong, Party secretary of the CPC Hai'an committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

He said that Hai'an, which has developed advantages in industrial development, talent introduction, and business environment, will be a destination for high-quality investment.

He encouraged more enterprises in Kunshan to invest in the county.

Tan Zhen, mayor of Hai'an, explained the county's investment environment during the conference.

He stressed that the county has been advancing technological innovation and advanced manufacturing to boost its high-quality development.

The county is looking forward to deepening cooperation with Kunshan in emerging manufacturing, modern services, technological innovation, city construction, and finance, Tan noted.
