Rudong, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province has in recent years been using its life science and healthcare industry to drive high-quality development. 

At present, the construction of a life science and healthcare industrial park is underway in the county. 

The first phase of the park covers 118 mu (7.87 hectares), which will host factories and 20 buildings for scientific research. The park has already attracted 12 groups of talents and more than 180 high-end talents.

In addition, the park has introduced more than 40 science and innovation enterprises, and has an occupancy rate of over 85 percent. 

Today, Rudong has attracted more than 70 life science and healthcare projects. Among them, two projects were signed online.

The county has also established a livestream center in Xindian town to help local enterprises break into overseas markets.
