Taiwan-based enterprise chooses Hai'an for its unique advantages

Headquartered in Taiwan, Giant Alloy Technology (Hai'an) Co Ltd is an enterprise integrating design, production and international marketing of parts and vehicles. In May, construction started on its new project. The first lot of automation equipment entered the assembly stage in July and is expected to be put into production in early 2021.
According to a person in charge of the company, Giant chooses to invest in Hai'an for its high administrative efficiency and favorable location. What's more, Hai'an has a nonferrous metals trading center which be more convenient for the company.
"The seamless pipes we produce have a good market prospect, especially in Europe, and they can also be used in the military and aviation sectors, and other fields," said Yu Ping, deputy director of Giant's research and development department.
"The entire production line has a relatively high degree of automation," Yu said. Compared with ordinary extruders, it needs far fewer workers and machine operators."
The company has established cooperation relationships with many universities and institutes, including the Northeastern University and the Central South University.
