A ceremony for Tiancheng Group's two major projects coming into production was held in Hai'an, a county-level city administered by Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province, on Oct 26.

As a leading agricultural enterprise in Hai'an, Tiancheng Group has developed a full industry chain covering feed production, poultry breeding and deep processing of eggs.

Gu Guobiao, Party secretary of Hai'an, attended the ceremony and said that the projects coming into production have the largest single plant capacity and highest level of intelligentization in the domestic industry, and represent the latest development direction of modern agriculture.

The projects will further enhance the development level of Tiancheng Group and promote agricultural modernization in Hai'an.

The intelligent high-end production project for livestock and poultry aquatic feed with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons is one of the major projects in Nantong in 2019. Invested with one billion yuan ($149 million), it currently has 14 production lines. Its main products include livestock and poultry feed as well as ordinary and special aquatic feed.

The other project put into production is Anhui Tiancheng New Materials Co Ltd, the first enterprise registered by Tiancheng Group outside Jiangsu province. The first phase of the project started construction in June 2018 and had a trial run in May 2020.

An intelligent farm project was also launched at the ceremony. Located in Binhai New Area, it will cover about 73 hectares and is built for breeding of laying hens, efficient cultivation of fruits and vegetables, as well as comprehensive utilization of poultry excrement, to realize a mode of "internet + agriculture" through modern technologies. Completion of the first phase is scheduled for 2021.
