Nantong Hengli Packing Technology Co in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, has recently developed high-efficiency face mask machines which can produce 104 masks in a minute.

The company did not produce face mask machines initially, but ran packaging machines for food and drugs. It is well-known in the packaging machinery industry, and has achieved over 70 patents and 11 high-tech products honored with provincial titles.

Since the novel coronavirus outbreak, many domestic companies have started to produce face masks and mask machines have also become hot sellers. But some of the machines are of low quality, which has led to poor production efficiency.

After learning that, the company decided to develop mask machines by itself and completed the first one on March 20. The company received orders shortly after, due to its good reputation.

"Our company has a competent technical team as we have had 16 years' experience in technology development and manufacturing in packaging machinery," said Li Jiyong, the company's general manager.

Common mask machines can produce about 60 face masks in a minute, but the first batch of the company's machines produce 80 a minute and the latest version can produce a maximum of 104 a minute.

The mask machines produced by the company also have scale marks, which allow purchasers to easily adjust and maintain the machines based on the scale marks and the videos provided.
