Rudong county, Nantong, received 15,000 face masks donated by JAC Language Institute, located in Osaka, Japan, on March 27.

During the donation ceremony, Cui Peng, deputy director of the county's bureau of education and sports, expressed gratitude on behalf of the bureau to JAC Language Institute and its representative.

Cui said that all the schools in the county are now making preparations for reopening and epidemic prevention, and a large number of protective items are needed.

Cui said the great support offered by the Japanese institute showcases its social responsibility and generosity, and its kind act brings in more encouragement for local workers in terms of education and sports.

As the poem written on the boxes shows, people around the world should work together to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
