Zhongtian Broadband Technology Co, a subsidiary of Zhongtian Technology (ZTT) Group based in Rudong county, Nantong, recently received praise from an Italian client for its timely delivery of goods amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

The company received an order related to a fiber to the home (FTTH) project from an Italian client before the Spring Festival, but the delivery of goods was impacted by the virus outbreak.

Although the company officially resumed production on Feb 10, many workers were not able to return due to epidemic-related travel restrictions. The company was met with a major challenge in completing the order in a very short period of time.

Zhou Ronghua, a manager of the optical fiber splitter workshop, promptly held a meeting to make staff adjustments due to the limited number of workers, in an effort to ensure timely production.

After learning that some technicians experienced difficulties in commuting because of traffic control, Kang Caihui, a group leader of the workshop, decided to drive them to work every day. Kang's act impressed a number of his colleagues, many of whom started doing the same thing.

The urgently needed optical fiber splitters were delivered to the Italian company as planned, allowing the FTTH project to move forward according to schedule.

"You did very well, just like all the Chinese did in the COVID-2019 battle. ZTT's quick response and high level of responsibility are impressive," said Marco, purchasing manager of the Italian company.
