A wharf in Libao town, Hai'an was built with sandstone in 1999 and remained abandoned for a long time. According to the regulations, the wharf had to be demolished as there were potential risks to operating it again. After several negotiations with the owner, it was removed.
In addition, an illegally built pigpen in the town, covering 250 square meters, was also demolished.
After the demolition of these illegal buildings, green areas will be constructed along watercourses in Hai'an.
