Several foreign trade enterprises from Hai'an, a county level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province, secured numerous orders at the second phase of the 136th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, which was held in Guangzhou from Oct 23 to 27.

Jiangsu Hongmao Sports Co Ltd successfully secured orders from Cyprus, Canada, and Kazakhstan during the Canton Fair, while 12 customers expressed interest in placing orders in the near future. Specializing in products such as polyester fabrics, artificial turf, and artificial fiber woven crafts, the company's products have been exported to Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and other regions.

Nantong Kingway Complex Material Co Ltd is a large-scale enterprise which develops, produces, and sells products such as low-permeability waterproof breathable membranes, high-permeability waterproof breathable membranes, vapor barriers, and barrier films. These innovative materials have been widely exported to markets across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Russia, Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Zhou Haihua, general manager of Kingway, said that they received numerous customers from foreign countries including Australia, Hungary, and Denmark during this year's Canton Fair, and were extremely busy throughout the event.

A total of 45 enterprises from Nantong participated in the second phase of the 136th Canton Fair. Nine of them were from Hai'an, accounting for 20 percent of Nantong's total participating companies. They were mainly located in exhibition areas such as kitchenware, furniture, household items, and building and decorative materials.
