NETDA's night job fair a hit with job seekers

A night job fair was held at the Aeon Mall in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area on July 31.

Forty companies set up booths, attracting about 1,000 job seekers and making more than 100 tentative job offers.

The job openings covered a wide range of industries, from high-end equipment manufacturing and new energy to electronics, IT, and modern services, offering a variety of roles. By capitalizing on the mall's bustling evening crowd, the fair attracted job seekers with little exposure to online job boards or traditional job fairs.

In addition, on-site staff offered career guidance, startup advice, policy briefings, and social security inquiries.

Fresh graduates and gig workers made up a notable share of the attendees. One graduate said the night job fair was convenient because it didn't interfere with daytime internships.
