The Envision offshore and onshore wind equipment manufacturing base in Yangkou town, Rudong, Jiangsu province, has been running at full capacity since it officially began production in July.

Its workshop lines for nacelles and hubs are operating steadily, while completed 5MW turbines await shipment overseas.

Backed by technology from its parent company Envision Energy, the 500-million-yuan ($70 million) base focuses on smart turbines and has drawn a steady stream of overseas orders.

Focusing on the parent company's fast-growing overseas orders, the Rodong base expects to deliver 306 turbines by the end of the year. The base has built a stable international supply chain and meets the high standards of overseas projects in terms of production, quality control and delivery.

The smart turbines feature an intelligent control system developed by the parent company. Built-in sensors collect real-time data on wind speed and direction, while core algorithms continuously optimize operations, boosting power generation efficiency.

To withstand complex deep-sea conditions, Envision has developed typhoon-resistant technology. By integrating historical typhoon data and simulating extreme conditions, the system defines load boundaries and safety thresholds, allowing turbines to adjust their position during typhoons. The technology has already proven effective in several projects.

Beyond manufacturing, the base is working with Yangkou town on a zero-carbon digital operating system and carbon footprint verification, aiming to give exported wind equipment a "zero-carbon green code" and build a full zero-carbon industrial ecosystem.
