Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering, located in Rugao, Nantong, has delivered the Haiming 1, a 105,000-deadweight-ton bulk carrier built for Hong Kong-based Haichang Group.

The delivery marks another milestone for the shipbuilder, which currently has 75 vessels totaling 4.2 million deadweight tons in its order book. Its production schedule is booked through 2030, reflecting strong demand for its shipbuilding capacity.

In 2026, Haitong plans to deliver 19 vessels of various types, with total shipbuilding volume to exceed 1.1 million deadweight tons. The company is projected to generate 3.5 billion yuan ($521.5 million) in sales this year.
