Aochuang Technology, based in Chongchuan district, has become a critical supplier of self-developed functional composites as China's new Electric Vehicles Traction Battery Safety Requirements take effect in July 2026.

The company has achieved full-chain control over materials and processes. Its nano-microporous insulation board has a thermal conductivity as low as 0.019 watts per meter kelvin. The insulation boards can withstand temperatures up to 1,300 C, giving it a significant competitive edge in the global market.

As a result, Aochuang became the exclusive supplier to Samsung SDI America's energy storage market, marking the first large-scale export of Chinese high-end composites to the United States.

Aochuang pioneered a system that prevents battery fires from spreading by using physical barriers, heat-absorbing materials and automatic fire extinguishing. For instance, its ceramic materials resist 1,200 C and block thermal propagation for over 30 minutes.

The company's business covers new-energy vehicles, energy storage and traditional industrial sectors. It operates dual production bases in Jiangsu and Anhui, with an annual production capacity of 5 million square meters.

Aochuang has also applied for 55 patents, 25 of which are for inventions and secured IP protection in major overseas markets including the United States, Europe, Japan and South Korea, to enable unrestricted exports.
